President Steve Artemans Opening Remarks:
The meeting, held at the club grounds, was called to order at 7:05 pm by the Club President, Steve Arteman. At the last meeting a motion to revise rule 10 was passed. Rule 10 was rewritten and now reads:

The maximum sound level produced by a vehicle on the Club Grounds is the current level for Motocross racing as set by the American Motorcyclists Association (AMA). The acceptable limit will change in accordance with revisions to the level as established by the AMA. Vehicles exceeding this level will not be allowed to operate on the Club Grounds. Sound testing may be conducted at any time by a designated body. As June 1st, 2006, this level is 99db.
The new rule is effective as of June 1st, 2006. A new copy of the rules has been posted on the clubhouse.

Also, the purchase of a sound meter was authorized with the purchase price not to exceed $150. The meter was ordered from White Brothers and should be received before the next Fun Ride. The cost of the meter was $120.

Additional items:

April fun Ride: The next Fun Ride will be April 23rd (the 4th Sunday in April instead of the 3rd Sunday) due to Easter. There will be a work day April 22nd. Last months course will be used with minor changes. Remember there is no riding during work hours, 8:00 2:00 unless the Grounds Keeper posts other hours on that day.

Groundskeeper, Tom Robinson, reports many trees down that need cutting and mud-holes that need draining. Work needs to be concentrated on the bridges and trails. Record your work time on the work sheet in the clubhouse.

Jim Weaver reported that work is expected to be on-going on the MX track extension. He and Roger Chaney will direct and perform most of the construction. Anyone wanting to assist is asked to contact Jim at 217-433-3624 (cell phone number)

The Cahokia Creek Dirt Riders (White City) expressed their gratitude for the monetary donation by our club (Dirt Riders Inc.) for the rebuilding of their clubhouse which was destroyed by arson.
